Can I book additional extras or equipment?
Yes, you can book additional extras online.
Can a family member/neighbour/friend take delivery of the vehicle?
No, the hirer must take delivery of the vehicle.
Can I book free delivery and collection online?
No, Drive&Go does not have this service.
Can a family member/neighbour/friend be available for collection?
No, the hire must take responsibility to pick up the car.
Can I check rates without making a reservation?
Yes, simply enter your requirements on the booking engine for rates.
Can I choose the car model?
No, we can only guarantee the category, not the model.
Can I drive into another country?
We do allow vehicles out Spain under request, please check when you book.
Can I get a copy of my invoice?
Yes, just ask at check-in
Can I just get my vehicle delivered or collected?
Yes, this is fine, just ask when you book.
Can I leave the vehicle empty of fuel?
Yes, but you will be charged a fee on top of the national average pump price.
Can I make online reservations with Drive & Go?   
Yes, provided your Credit Card is valid.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
No, we can only accept payment by credit card/debit card.
Can I rent a van with Drive & Go?
No. We don’t have Van Rental service.
Can I take out additional covers or protections?
Yes, you can buy additional cover online or at the counter.
Can the branch agent explain the vehicle's controls to me?
Yes, just ask the agent when you collect.
Can the excess be reduced to zero?
Yes, this is possible. Ask for details when you book or at the counter when you pick up the car.
Do I need to carry out any vehicle maintenance during the hire?
Yes, you will need to make customary checks on fluid levels and tyres.
Do I need to check the condition of the vehicle prior leaving the location?
Yes, you need to make sure the condition of the vehicle is accurately reported.
Do you offer a collection service?
No. We only operate at Porto Airport.

How will I know that my reservation is confirmed?
Once you've booked you will receive an email with your "reservation confirmation" page.

In Portugal basic cover is provided in accordance with legal requirements.

Is there a minimum / maximum age for renting a vehicle?
The minimum age to hire is 19 years old (subject to a fee payment). No maximum age applies.
Is there mileage limit for my hire?
We offer rates that include limited and unlimited mileage.
May I use my credit card coverage?
Yes you can. In such case the retention of the deductible in your credit card will be applied.
My driving licence has been stolen; can I present a theft declaration instead?
Under the Portuguese law you need to have a valid driving licence. Please check with branch.
Rules of the Road
It is the hirer’s responsibility to be aware of the driving laws in the country in which they are driving.

Drive & Go have several coverages available at counter. Please check with branch or in our website.
What documents do I need to present at the counter when I pick up my car?
Please bring your driving licence, photo ID/passport and a valid credit card.
What does it mean when I receive the message "Your session has timed out"?
For your security, we close the connection after a period of inactivity.
What does CDW or Loss Damage Waiver mean?
This is an optional cover which relieves the customer of any responsibility for loss of or damage to the hire vehicle.
What do I need to do in the event of loss of keys?
In the event of loss of vehicle keys, you will need to contact the check-out location.
What do I need to do in the event of Loss or theft of the vehicle?
Call the local police authority and the hire location.
What if I have a problem with the car?
Drive & Go provides Emergency Roadside Assistance 24 hours a day. Please see Assistance contact in your rental documents.
What if I want to extend the length of my hire?
Please call the hire location the vehicle was delivered from to make the arrangements.
What is a Rental Agreement?
The Rental Agreement is the contract between Drive & Go and the customer.
What is included in the price?
A quote generally includes Time and Mileage, road tax, third party liability cover, and VAT.
